Subject: Lime Dockless Bike Share

I wanted to let you know that Lime (formerly Limebike) is launching its dockless bike share program in Watertown on Friday June 29. They will be launching with roughly 200 bikes throughout Watertown, along its major thoroughfares Pleasant Street, Main Street, Mount Auburn Street and Arsenal Street. Many of the locations are on private sites such as athenahealth, Marriott Hotel, and Watertown Mews. Watertown will be the sixth community to launch, following Malden, Everett, Chelsea, Winthrop and Arlington. Belmont will follow soon, as will Newton and Waltham. Dockless bike sharing uses a mobile app to find, unlock, and rent bikes. Lime is currently preparing a press release which will go to the local news outlets.
